We use Hot Docs to manage our appointments and schedule. Please setup your Hot Docs Profile and book via this easy booking system. We also have tele-health appointments if you are unwell and cannot visit the clinic. You can also schedule an appointment by calling the clinic.

Online appointments are for standard 15 minute, single problem consultations only.

Please call the practice on 03 94971644 if you need to book: a longer appointment or have multiple issues to discuss. Examples include (Pap Smear, IUD, Mental Health Plan / Consult, Travel Health, / Immunisations, Healthy Kids Check, Implanon, Surgical procedures, GP Management Plans and Team Care Arrangements, Health Assessments, Diabetic Review, Dressings / Removal of sutures, Ear Syringing, Audiometry, ECG’s, Spirometry, Pre-employment / Insurance Medicals, Workcover, TAC or a Third Party consultation, etc.

We prefer to see patients by appointment; however, urgent medical problems will be dealt with promptly.

After-Hours Medical Care

In an Emergency For all critical or life-threatening medical situations, please immediately dial 000 for an ambulance, or present directly to the Emergency Department.

  • Our local emergency facility is the Austin Hospital (145 Studley Road, Heidelberg), located approximately a 5-minute drive from our clinic.

After-Hours GP Services Doctors of Ivanhoe provides continuous care arrangements for our patients outside of our normal opening hours. If you require medical attention when the clinic is closed, please contact our designated after-hours providers:

  • Doctor Doctor (Accredited Deputising Service): Call 13 26 60. They provide after-hours medical care and home visits. A detailed report of their consultation will be securely forwarded back to our practice to ensure continuity of care with your regular GP.

  • Nurse-On-Call: Call 1300 60 60 24 for free, confidential clinical advice from a registered nurse, available 24 hours a day.

  • Victorian Virtual Emergency Department: For non-life-threatening emergencies, you can consult with emergency doctors and nurses via video call at vved.org.au.
