Jane Dixon

Meet Jane, who works with children, adolescents, and adults, providing evidence-based, practical, and supportive psychological care. She brings a background in education and over 15 years of experience supporting children’s learning, behaviour, and developmental needs.

Jane adopts a warm, structured, and goal-oriented approach, creating a supportive space where clients feel understood and equipped with practical strategies for change. Her work is guided by evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and approaches focused on emotional regulation, executive functioning, and behavioural support. She also provides parent-focused work, supporting families in strengthening relationships and improving day-to-day functioning.

Jane works across the lifespan, with particular experience supporting children and families within educational and developmental contexts. She has a strong interest in the assessment and support of specific learning disorders (SLDs), including difficulties in reading, writing, and mathematics, as well as attention, behavioural, and emotional regulation difficulties.
