
Ms Sanaz Saeedahmadi
Psychologist
Meet Sanaz, an experienced child and family psychologist registered with AHPRA, with over 11 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families across private practice, schools, psychiatric hospitals, and community mental health services. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and has successfully completed the National Psychology Exam in Australia.
Sanaz adopts a warm, strengths-based, child-centred, trauma-informed, and neuro-affirming approach, creating a safe and supportive space where children feel understood, empowered, and able to express themselves. Her work is guided by evidence-based and play-based interventions tailored to each child’s developmental needs and individual strengths, including Child-Centred Play Therapy, Trauma-Informed Interventions, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Collaborative and Proactive Solution model (CPS) and Attachment-Based approaches. She also integrates parenting programs such as Circle of Security (COS), Triple P, and Tuning in to Kids/Teens.
Sanaz also works as a psychologist within School Readiness Programs (SRF), supporting 3–4-year-old kindergarten children and collaborating with educators to help build emotional, social, and developmental skills needed for a smooth transition to school.
Sanaz works primarily with children and families, with a particular interest in:
- Neurodivergent clients (Autism and ADHD)
- Emotion regulation and anxiety
- Self-esteem, confidence, and resilience
- School transitions and adjustment
- Trauma, grief, and loss
- Family separation and family wellbeing
- Immigration and adjustment issues
She supports families accessing NDIS services (Plan-Managed and Self-Managed only).
In her free time, Sanaz enjoys walking, cooking, and watching movies. She loves sunny days, and travelling, and values opportunities to relax, explore new places, and create meaningful experiences.
